TOSK Statement on Corona Virus – Covid – 19

As the proud stewards of SME and MSME Tour Operators in Kenya, our members have had the honor and privilege of providing unforgettable experiences to guests since 2015.
The rise of the coronavirus pandemic, also known as COVID-19, has presented the Tourism industry and our society with an unprecedented set of challenges. From airlines to Tour Operators, Travel Agents, Hotels, National Parks, our Guests, Employees, families, and friends.
We want to assure you that ALL our members have adhered to the National Government directives and protocols issued by the President. At the same time, our Public Relations team is in constant touch with the relevant Authorities to get the latest updates on Covid 19.
On cancellations, our members are working closely with guests whose travel has been affected by this pandemic and as such we have implored upon them to relax their cancellation policies in order to give our guests confidence in making future bookings.
As for the domestic market, outbound holiday bookings have also been halted until the situation normalizes.
We urge the public to act responsibly on health and safety matters and also strictly adhere to the National Government directives and protocols laid to control the spread of Covid 19.
Keep Safe.
The Chief Executive Officer,
On Behalf of the Executive Committee
